Managing change with ADHD

What do you want help with?

Book in your free consultation, or contact me to book a package.

New things are great for the ADHD brain because they are exciting and new and provide an opportunity to hyperfocus on something productive and purposeful. Approaching new things like someone who doesn’t have ADHD probably doesn’t work very well though.

Working with me will support you to take on the challenge, to do the thing, but do it in a way that works for you – with specific strategies tailored to your brain.

Working with me will give you:

  • Support and collaboration to make a firm plan, with practical, actionable steps forward
  • A safe place to fall back if you get stuck
  • Confidence in ability to navigate this event
  • The knowledge that you’ll get through this

Planning for a change

If this sounds like where you are, I can help:

You are about to do something different. Maybe it’s a new job, a new career, or a move. Maybe you are becoming a parent. Maybe life has thrown a spanner in the works (Illness? Lost your job? Won the lottery?). You also have ADHD so, well, planning for change doesn’t really fit with your particular type of brain. But… you’re reading this now and if you are thinking:

  • this is a pattern that repeats – I embark on something new and a little way in I wish I’d made a plan. But the next time the same thing happens
  • I’ve got quite a few things pretty well sorted and I know this new thing is going to throw me off my game so I probably should make a plan

Quick!  Book a free 30 minutes and I will be (part of) your external executive functioning, like an external harddrive, while you do this change-thing.  I also promise to help you think through whether coaching is actually what you want/need before you have to commit to anything you have to pay for.

So you can just act on this impulse now, I promise.

Managing a change when you’re already in the middle of it

If this sounds like where you are, I can help:

You find yourself in the middle of a big change – a move, a new relationship, you’ve become a parent, you’ve changed jobs. Maybe the change doesn’t sound that big to other people but for you it is. Maybe it’s impacting your ADHD strategies and throwing you off, or maybe your capacity to manage the change is impacted by your ADHD.

You are out of bandwidth? You need a place to get this off your chest, and to get some clarity, some support and to make a plan for how to deal?

I can help.
